Cookies are close to the heart

Cookies are close to the heart. They create a buttery sense of nostalgia whether it’s baking as a child or eating cookie dough in a college dorm room. Most people we’ve talked to can tell you how they like their cookie; a little underdone, crispy on the edges, or overflowing with chocolate.

We like a bit of it all.

Morsel Cookie Company emerged from owner and baker Caroline Dockery’s obsession to make the best (and thickest) cookies in the southeast. During her junior year of college she began recipe testing in her tiny studio apartment, stacking pans anywhere possible. While nailing down a recipe, and creating a small cookie following at her university job, she knew she wanted to bake full time.

3 months after graduating in 2019, Morsel Cookie Company was founded.
